About

From professional photography and promotional videos, to marketing, website consulting, and photo displays – I help my clients clarify their brand and marketing message, thereby improving how they connect, share and prosper within the marketplace.

How you connect with your clients matters as much as how and what you share, which impacts the degree to which your business prospers. What are the most effective ways to connect and share your products and services? The answer is multifaceted and different for each business. Too often though, businesses cloak their marketing with ineffective gimmicks while missing genuine opportunities to connect on a more creative, authentic and meaningful level.

Also key to the services I provide are integrity and transparency. Not only do these values lead to better outcomes for all stakeholders, they produce opportunities to fix mistakes and improve quality, which further contributes to our shared success. Please feel free to get in touch – I always enjoy hearing about new projects and discussing how I can help.

My Story

When I was eleven, my uncle gave me my first camera – a broken 35mm film SLR. After my dad fixed the shutter release, I began to explore this seemingly magical form of expression. Over the next few decades, I studied and worked in both the visual and written arts, as well as sales and marketing, but photography in particular remained close to my heart for a number of reasons.

Whether it’s a mundane object that becomes magnificent in the right light, or a quest to reveal part of a subject’s story in a specific way – the art of photography mirrors life in that it is fleeting, demanding that you be committed, present and ready. In addition to my fine art photography, I especially enjoy architectural and certain kinds of commercial photography. I find these assignments to be as enjoyable as they are challenging. It requires immense patience, technical skill, and creative problem solving abilities. More than anything, I love the process of creating images that take my client’s breath away.

Creative writing is also a passion of mine. I am currently halfway through writing my first novel. The progress is painfully slow, but immensely rewarding. I feel so very fortunate to be able to spend most of my time pursuing creative work that I love.
